Students are expected to complete the assigned practice quizzes. This is key information they need to know. They should practice them until they have a 100%

These grades are recorded in Parent Portal as a means of communicating their progress with you. It is the highest grade they received based on the number of times they practiced. They do NOT count towards their quarter grade. You may see the following and here is what it means:

• M - student did not attempt at all

• 0% - student started quiz but abandoned it and did not finish it. This was their only attempt.

I can see their attempts and identify any patterns of error that I see. I can then conference with the students to provide feedback and extra help on topics as needed prior to the summative assessment.
